| Video Discription | In 1993, to celebrate 30 years of X-Men books being published, the story Fatal Attractions was released, and it changed the game for many years to come. It begins when Magneto rises from his apparent death, more powerful than ever before, and attacks the entire Earth and all of humanity from his floating asteroid base Avalon, which he has made a safe haven for all of mutantkind. First his emissary Exodus will invite Xavier's former students in both X-Factor and X-Force to join him, and after they're dealt with, he crashes the funeral of Illyana Rasputin, Colossus' little sister, who has just died from the Legacy virus, and makes the same offer to the X-Men. After he is repelled, but taking one of the X-Men with him to his side, Magneto attacks the entire planet's EM field, and the X-Men are soon forced to infiltrate his asteroid base to put an end to Magneto's threat, once and for all. Magneto raises the stakes higher than ever before when he removes the adamantium from Wolverine's skeleton, and the team is forced to rush to save his life. But not without resolving the conflict first, for Magneto's danger has grown beyond what Charles Xavier can tolerate. These two foes have perhaps their most epic clash in this story, battling with no holds barred for the fate of mutants and humans alike. A final issue of Excalibur wraps up the story and a short outro details the effects on the larger X-Men narrative. X-Men and al characters copyright Marvel Comics.
