A volunteer first took us to the tea Factory and explained in detail the multiple steps process of how brown tea granules get created from green tea leaves. Next we visited the oil making unit where another volunteer explained the process of how oil is extracted from different varieties of leaves. Next we visited the chocolate factory cum outlet where we tasted delicious chocolate samples. Finally we roamed inside the vast stretch of tea garden and silver oak trees soaking in the breathtaking views and natural beauty. This place is a must visit when in Coonoor.
