| Video Discription | CHP CADET RUN TO THE CAPITOL | THE TRADITION CONTINUES Today 106 CHP Cadets of Cadet Training Class VI-23 participated in their Graduation Run, a customary event for each cadet training class, starting from the CHP Academy and ending at the California Peace Officers Memorial next to the State Capitol. This Academy class had the honor of being lead by CHP Commissioner Duryee throughout their 5-mile journey, receiving unwavering support and encouragement from family and friends as they raced towards this significant milestone. Friday’s graduation ceremony will mark their official badge presentation, as they transition into the newest Officers of the California Highway Patrol.
