Findings from the PERSEUS trial (NCT03710603) suggest that the addition of daratumumab to bortezomib, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone (VRd) induction and to lenalidomide maintenance results in improved rates of measurable residual disease (MRD)-negativity and subsequent progression-free survival (PFS). The ongoing RADAR trial (ISCRTN46841867) provides additional nuance to the treatment of this patient population through the use of genetic risk-adapted therapy and response-adapted therapy post-transplant using MRD.
