| Video Discription | This animation shows steps of the procedure (urethroplasty) for a minimally-invasive reconstruction of distal urethral stricture without a need for skin incision. Step 1: a wedge of the obstructive scar tissue is removed through the urethra (no need for penile skin incision) Step 2: a small thin graft of oral mucosa is harvested attached and delivered with sutures to the proximal (deep) edge of the incised urethra Step 3: the distal (external) edge of the graft is secured to the edge of the incision, and the middle part of the graft is "quilted" in place.
