However, you rarely see people perform bent rows with DB's, which is a very valuable variation of this exercise. While the video shows this movement performed with a neutral, or palms-in grip, the advantage of DB's is that you can vary the position of the wrist from set to set, or even within the same set. Believe it or not, the muscles of the back are affected quite differently when the palms are facing in different directions (to the front, inward, to the back). And in addition, by utilizing DB's you will also force both sides of the body to work with equal intensity, which sometimes is not the case with a BB.
