| Video Discription | On April 26, Naxal attack in Chattisgarh's Dantewada sent shockwaves across the nation. A day later, a heart-wrenching video describes the pain that such attacks inflict on families of jawans. DRG jawans, who were killed by high-intensity IED blast, left behind their loved ones in pain and agony. On Apr 27, last respects were paid and the mortal remains of soldiers were taken to their native villages for the last rites. The funeral ceremony of jawan Lakhmu Markam was filled with sorrow and pride. Markam's aggrieving wife even tried to offer herself on the funeral pyre of her husband instead of the braveheart. Hundreds of villagers gathered at his residence to pay their last respects. People raised slogans like "Shaheed Jawan Amar Rahe" during his antim yatra. His supreme sacrifice has made his entire village proud who were bidding him farewell with teary eyes.
