Choose someone that you feel you'd get along with and connect with. But always remember that therapy takes time. Your therapist can't fix all your problems from the first moment. He or she will be there for you, to help you, to give you ideas, and to keep you on track on your journey. There will be moments when you will feel that maybe therapy is not for you, and you can't find a meaning to all of this. This is because you want all your problems to disappear right away. But that's not how this works. You need to give yourself time. It may be 1-2 months or maybe more. But it's a journey worth taking. Helpful Things to Use in your Journey: 1. Start with small steps, and then move up gradually.
