I'm not sure when his first successful band, Camper Van Beethoven, was formed (early 1980's). His second band, Cracker (with Johnny Hickman), was created in 1989. The amount of music Lowery created in between the 2 groups and solo material is phenomenal. A prolific song writer with a great sense of humor. This song is from his solo album, Vending Machine, the 3rd album of a planned 4 album autobiography. All I can say is THANK YOU, Doctor Lowery! Thanks for placing smiles on so many faces, thanks for all the catchy ear worms, thanks for the ballads, thanks for the punk, thanks for the music.
