| Video Discription | In this video from The Strength Institute we go over Deadball Throw Overs! This is a great full body conditioning exercise. It's easy to get away with curling the deadballs up when they are lighter but once the weight increases, you're forced to use your leg drive and hip hinge to help with the lift. The same postural ques from squatting and deadlifting apply to this. Its ok for the upper back to by lightly rounded (the upper spine naturally has some curve to it) but its is very important you dont let your spine change from a state of extension to a state of extension (or vice versa) during a weighted lift as this can increase your risk of injury! |
