Don Miller makes an appealing (and highly entertaining) case that challenges assumptions about how children absorb and retain science concepts. Don has spent much of his life teaching the wonders of the world around us to kids of all ages. He has been astonished at the help, delight and life-changing experiences that have come to young people of many ages, backgrounds and nationalities. In the process of being in the trenches with kids, he has learned that certain approaches to teaching science can have profound effects on the lives of young people AND on their ability to learn.
