| Video Discription | #DelhiAirport #IGIairport #indiatourism Hello, In this video, I have explained the process of obtaining Indian evisa at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) New Delhi Terminal 3. When you come to India on e visa, you actually board a flight using an approved ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) print out. In your flight, if you are holding a non Indian passport, you will be asked to fill an incoming travel card . This is not for the people travelling on Indian passport . Once you reach the airport , in international arrivals area, there are 2 zones. 1 is for Indian passport holders and other for all other passport holders. So, you need to go to non Indian passport holders’ area. There you will find dedicated counters for evisa, regular visa, visa on arrivals. Select an evisa counter where you see less crowd. You will find people there who help passengers to make them stand in the correct queues to reduce waiting time. Once you reach a counter, show your passport, a print out of your ETA, boarding pass and the incoming passenger card. They will ask you questions. There are no fixed questions as these questions vary case by case. Make sure you have enough funds for the trip you planned, your return or onwards tickets. If everything is fine, they do biometrics there and stamp the visa on your passport. After that you allowed to pass through. Then before you reach the baggage area, there will be another check to make sure you have not jumped the process although it seems impossible to do that. That’s it. Enjoy your stay in India. |
