It turns out nice, tasty and has fantastic texture. This is a very easy and simple recipe. We already have seen chole recipe. But this dhaba style chole masala is a little different in taste, texture and consistency. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe. Ingredients: • 1 cup Kabuli chana • 2 green Cardamom • 1~2 Bay leaves • A piece of Cinnamon • 3~4 Cloves • 3~4 black Pepper corns • Oil • 1 tsp Cumin seeds • 4 finely chopped Onions • 3 medium size Tomatoes pureed • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste • 1 tsp Red chili powder • 1 tsp Coriander powder • 1 tsp Garam masala • 1 tsp Besan • Salt to taste Method: • Wash chana really good and soak it in enough water for at least 8 hours or overnight. • Transfer the soaked chana into a pressure cooker and add cardamom, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper corns. • You can tie all the whole spices in a muslin cloth and put it into pressure cooker along with chana. • Close the lid and cook on medium heat until at least 7-8 whistles. • Heat up oil in a pan. • Add cumin seeds and let it splutter. • Add onion and fry until it caramelizes a little. • Add tomato puree, ginger-garlic paste and fry for another 3-4 minutes. • When oil begins to separate add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala and fry everything well together for just 2 minutes. • Move the masala along the edge of the pan and add besan in the empty space. • Roast besan for about a minute and mix well with the masala. • Remove the whole spices form the cooked chole and transfer the chole into the masala along with water in it. • Add salt and mix well. • Cover and cook on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes. • Turn off the gas and chole masala is all ready. • It goes fantastic with bhature.
