| Video Discription | it is necessary to know which line is the suction line so that you can add more freon. In my case it was impossible to differentiate them because they were both parallel with one another and neither one was noticeably colder than the other so I figured out how to tell them apart and that is the dryer capillary tube was wrapped around the suction line. the reason my high pressure line was not noticeably hot and the suction line noticeably cool after running the compressor for a while is because my system was so low on freon. if your system has adequate freon the suction line will generally be cooler and the high pressure line will be hotter after the compressor has been running for a while |
