DISCOVER PATTAYA EVENTS with Fabulous 103fm What’s on in Pattaya (12 April 2024)
A busy weekend and week ahead in and around the city,
This Saturday the 13th April, the Lodge West Winds will be holding their Annual Charity BBQ over at the Siam Country Resort. Enjoy an International buffet, live music by Jayson and friends, and a charity raffle with great prizes up for grabs including a TV and other electrical items. Admission is just 600 baht per person and that kicks off at 6pm.
It's Thai new year, so lots of Songkran celebrations and water splashing around the city as well as parties and events!
If you're looking for a safe spot to play Songkran with the family, the Holiday Inn Hotel will hold their Songkran summer splash pool party on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Lots of activities with fingernail painting and hair styling for the girls, water balloon darts competitions, a candyfloss making station, free drinks for the little ones and lots of games with prizes up for grabs. That's from 2pm-4pm on the 4th floor of the Bay tower. And on Saturday evening, they will have their Songkran seafood buffet from 5-9pm at the Cafe G, also on the 4th floor, for 4 hours, eat all you can for just 1,290 baht net per person.
Fun for the whole family over at the Movenpick Siam Hotel in Na Jomtien as they have now launched their Songkran Family Fest, taking place on the beachfront lawn every evening until the 21st. Games, mazes, trampolines, monkey climbing and more for the kids, lots of market style stalls with food and drinks, and entrance is completely free. That's taking place daily from 5 until 10pm.
Monday will see the launch of the Beach Streetfood Songkran festival, which will be taking place every day throughout Songkran. With over 200 stalls offering all different cuisines from all 4 regions of Thailand, and also live music shows and DJ's every evening. That's located on Beach Road in between Soi 6 and Pattaya Klang, lots of parking available and entrance is completely free.
The food fest is also coming back to the runway at the Terminal 21 shopping mall, lots of street food and market style stalls, live music, a mini zoo, and games, that's every day until the 21st.
As always, lots of parties in and around the city for Songkran. It will be celebrated in the Banglamung and Naklua area on Thursday the 18th, which will see some Naklua Roads become one way. The main day for the whole city is Friday 19th April, with multiple stages along the beachfront with live DJ's all day long, and Pattaya beach road will be closed from the Pattaya Klang intersection to walking street, in between 14.30-23.00. And as usual, the occasional water throwing is to be expected all around the city during this Songkran week.
