| Video Discription | Idli dosa batter Ingredients Idli rice - 4 cups Urad dhal -1 cup Water as required Rock salt as required Instructions 1.In a large bowl take 4 cups of idli rice and wash it 3 times and add water and soak it 2.Take another bowl add 1 cup of urad dhal (I have taken black split urad dhal) wash it 3 times add water and soak it 3.After 5 hours the batter is ready to grind 4.Drain off the water and add the urad dhal to the grinder and add cold water or ice cubes at regular intervals 5.After 30 minutes the batter becomes smooth transter it to the bowl 6.Now add the soaked the idli rice to the grinder along with the required water for the batter 7.After 15 minutes when the batter becomes coarser tranfer the batter to the urad dhal batter container 8.Mix both the batters with hands(which helps in fermentation) along with some rock salt 9.Cover the batter with a lid and allow it to ferment for atleast 8 hours 10.when the batter becomes fermented mix it thoroughly with a spatula and use it ************************************ ๐ Credits Music: Goa Musician: ASHUTOSH Site: https://ashutoshmusic.fanlink.to/goa |
