| Video Discription | 2010... This was a year of growing up and moving on. I learned that life doesn't suck, that I am one lucky kid and that I need to be greatful for what I have. I'm not saying my year was amazing, friendships shattered, horses left and I questioned myself more than once. But I also gained a few amazing friends, had oppertunities I never imagined and made memories I will never forget. This past year, I learned how to ride. I have videos from the beginning of 2010 that suprise me at my lack of skill. I look at what I acomplished and achived this summer, and I am proud of not only myself, but the horses that brought me there too. I had people who both pushed me to work harder and made me want to give up. Luckly the people who pushed me helped me ignore the people who wanted to hurt me. I have Levi, a beautiful pony who has taught me so so much. Who has brought me places I never even dreamed of. I have Q, who may be old, but he is wise and never dissapoints me when I need a boost. I have Red, who was my show horse for 2010 and helped me shine in the show ring and come home with some amazing ribbions and memories. And many other horses who helped me become the rider I am. But my horses wouldn't be around if it wern't for a few very special people too. My parents... who bring me to the barn 6-7 days a week so that I can school these crazy beasts and hang out with my friends. Betina. Not only my trainer but also my best friend. She has taught me to stay on a horse and to make them dance and shine, but also extreamly important life lessons that will help me throughout the rest of my life. My friends... They stand by me and sometimes give me that huge reality check that I need. Thank you to everyone for this year, a year that has helped me grow as a person and become who I am. I no longer dwell on the past, but look forward to the future. I was the first to use this song in a horse video, so please credit me if you use it... Thanks |
