Triumph of Death: the triumph of death over world things, symbolized by an army of skeletons attacking Earth.
Flemish Proverbs: it has more than 100 flemish proverbs of the time.
Dulle Griet: also known as Mad Meg, a peasang woman that lead an army of women to Hell.
Schlaraffenland: inspired in a book by Hans Sachs. There are three men in the ground because they drank too much, they are fat and possible sleeping, each one wearing different clothers to represent the three social classes: gentleman, peasant and man of letters, student or cleric.
Tower of Babel: he painted two, and symbolized the doom of the growing thrist of power of the humans.
Harvest: it represents the summer. The landscape is very important.
Vine in the feast of S. Martin: many characters around a red barrel in the center with various attitudes.
Census in Bethelem: he used this theme to paint a snow landscape.
Jan Brueghel the Elder: still life, and later landscape. Bouquet.
