I took a full dose of testosterone inter muscular shots for over 14 months before I quit hormones and stopped identifying as a transgender male. I have been in recovery from gender affirming healthcare for over 10 years. Today on detransjoy, we are going to be looking at ROGD in adolescence. In case you did not know, ROGD stands for Rapid-onset gender dysphoria. Also, yesterday was ROGD awareness day so that is also another reason I am bringing up this topic. ROGD theorizes that some adolescents identify as transgender due to peer influence and social contagion. The term was first used in a 2018 paper by physician and researcher Lisa Littman. She, along with others, have observed the rise of the number of female adolescents identifying as transgender in recent years. These young females often have not even ever displayed any sign of gender distress prior to that point. I won’t present all the details of ROGD. Rather, I would refer you to this Genspect video which I highly recommend. I would also like to comment on the transgenders response to ROGD. A trip to Wikipedia will tell you everything you need to known. It is clear to me that this Wikipedia entry is written from the transgender point of view. It seems as tho, anyone who tries to explain the rapid rise in transgenderism in young females, is shut down by the transgenders. They have actually tried to have any mention or reference to ROGD removed from the internet claiming it is transphobic. Unbelievable. The transgenders try to silence those that do not agree with their transgender point of views. These people are labeled transphobic and often also right wing extremists for simply having different ideas. But, what are their ideas? How can they explain this rapid rise in transgenderism in young females?
