| Video Discription | Welcome to episode 2 from the Solo In Nagaland series. The Dzukou Valley is one of thje most enchanting places of India, tucked away at the border of Nagaland and Manipur. The beauty you will witness here will leave you spell-bound. But woh kehte haina, all the tough roads lead you to the most beautiful places? Dzukou ka bhi kuch aisa hi hai....the trek is tedious but a fun one, and it'll take you somewhere between 4 to 5 hours to for you to reach the base camp, depending on your speed. Come, experience this piece of heaven with me virtually, in this episode. Things to remember when you plan your trek to Dzukou: - The Visvema route (the one I took) is much easier compared to the Jakhama route - You can stay the previous night at Athuo Homestay in Jakhama just like I did, before you trek to the valley - Drones are not allowed in the valley (you'd need special permissions to use them) - You can get in touch with @travespert on Instagram, incase you're interested to trek to the valley - Carry your sleeping bags and down jackets cuz it's super windy and extremely cold at night. I went in the month of November and it was super cold - The best option would be to trek early in the morning and reach the base camp by or before 2pm - DO NOT trek to Dzukou without a local guide!
