| Video Discription | I’ve tested a few orange chicken recipes and none ever worked out. But I’ve been seeing this 3 ingredients orange chicken sauce for a while now and decided to give it a try. It ended up being so delicious, my family and I were very pleased! Orange Chicken Ingredients 1 3/4-2 lbs chicken thighs or breast, cut into bite sized pieces 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 cup flour 1/2 cup cornstarch 3/4 cup oil For the sauce 3/4 cup orange marmalade 1/3 cup barbecue sauce 3 tablespoons soy sauce Directions Combine all the sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Place eggs into a shallow dish, and combine flour and cornstarch in another shallow dish. Season chicken, eggs and flour/cornstarch with salt and pepper. Dip chicken into the eggs and dredge into flour/cornstarch mixture. Heat 3/4 cup oil in a pan over medium high heat and cook chicken in 2 batches. Cook until cooked through, this will take about 6 minutes per batch. Remove chicken, set aside, toss excess oil and wipe pan clean. Pour the sauce into the pan. Season with salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Stir in chicken and remove from heat. Serve immediately over rice. |
