Today on The Hormone Hub podcast I have my good friend Edwina Murphy-Droomer back on the show with an exclusive invitation to lock arms… with a grin and excitement in our hearts. All we need to start is a single seed: when you wrap your heart and mind around it, nurture it, feed it, love it, and help it grow into the foundation that supports your life, you will flourish. It is a seed that holds great wisdom and the DNA for a life filled with meaning and joy. The seed from which a beautifully rich and meaningful life grows is called Connection. We know humans need connection; without it, we fail to flourish. Without it, we simply can not thrive. But it isn’t just the connection to another person that we need. Oh no, my friend, it is so much more than that. It is your connection to the most authentic and highest expression of yourself, with what is needed to flourish from the inside out so that your inner world reflects the happy, healthy world we want for all. It is our connection with the natural world, cherishing and honouring the symbiotic relationship with every living thing on Mother Earth. It is our connection to a higher source, to the divine creative that holds all life in its hands… be that Mother Nature, The Universe, God, or another deity. It is the connection you feel to others in platonic and romantic relationships and to a community that offers a sense of belonging and purpose. With connection missing, be it connection to (1) the most authentic, highest expression of yourself, (2) your fellow humans, (3) the natural world, and (4) a higher source, it explains why many are feeling chronically uneasy. But step by step, reconnecting to what matters most, we can build the foundation for a deeply fulfilling and profoundly meaningful life. For you, for me, for all of us. Phew...
