| Video Discription | We core punched the developing supercell on the Missouri/Kansas border and came out under the base of the Joplin storm on the west side of town about 10 minutes before the tornado developed. The tornado went from nothing to mile wide wedge in about a minute and half, became rain-wrapped, and moved through the town of Joplin. We went into town afterward and helped with search and rescue for over an hour until emergency personnel moved into the area we stopped.
