| Video Discription | Middle of Nowhere Music presents, Emily Perkins, performing her original song, “Drifting Air”. We first met Emily in Jacksonville, IL at PizzaStock, A festival put on by the local record store, Pizza Records. Emily was one of a handful of artist that performed that day and we were really impressed with her powerful voice. At only 17 years old she has an impressive lineup of original songs. We loved the fact that she was performing with an old notebook filled with all of her music, as opposed to the modern day tablet that we see all too often. I had a show the following day at Vixen Hill Winery and decided to invite Emily to come perform some of her songs in between sets. She gladly excepted and she knocked it out of the park! We finally got to sit down and create a video with Emily on a cold January afternoon at the old school house in Scottville, Illinois. We hope that you enjoy the video and we insist that you keep an eye out for Emily and her bright musical future.
