During the convention, Eric officially announced his father as the 2024 Republican presidential nominee. Eric’s announcement came alongside his brother Donald Jr, wife Lara and half-sister Tiffany. “On behalf of our entire family and on behalf of 25 delegates in the unbelievable state of Florida, we hereby nominate every single one of them for the greatest president that’s ever lived, and that’s Donald J. Trump, hereby declaring him the Republican nominee for president of the United States of America,” he said. The convention is being held at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from July 15 to 18. Former US president Donald Trump will appear at the RNC but is not expected to speak until he accepts the nomination on Thursday. |
