He shares a fantastic story about the benefits you can receive working for a multi-billion dollar company, such as EY, including the changes he experienced in his lifestyle as a result of working for this great company. Growing up as a young African American man in Miami, FL, Christopher had many odds stacked against him to become successful and secure a career as a CPA working for EY. Christopher decided that passing the CPA exam would be his way of securing a way to earn great pay and change his life for continued advancement. He wants to share his story to encourage other students and professional to pursue a career in accounting and achievement of the CPA license. Christopher Johnson (CPA, CISA, CDPP, CWASP) is the co-founder of CPA Diversity. If you are considering a career in accounting and pursuing the CPA license, we want to encourage you to do the hard work, study to pass the CPA exam, keep you sight on becoming a CPA and securing a successful career in accounting!
