Especially when someone prepares for IAS examination this becomes more important as the selection ratio is less than 1%. In this examination there are areas where students can score better compared to other subjects with less efforts. Ethics and essay combined is one such pocket-sized subject where students can fetch good marks. GS Paper 4 (Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude) has maintained its uniqueness about scoring patterns. In the last few years this paper has witnessed a unique trend of marking patterns. In GS Paper 1, 2, 3 ranges of marks among the aspirants are not so inconsistent (barring few cases).
