| Video Discription | In this video, I discuss one of the Latin Primers that I am using to teach myself Latin: ‘Latin Via Ovid: a first course’ (2nd edition: 1982). I discuss Ovid’s ‘Metamorphoses’, which ‘Latin Via Ovid’ employs so as to teach the beginning Latin Student the Latin Language. ‘Metamorphoses’ means: ‘transformations’, and I discuss what are, to me at least, similar magical transformations in the Christian New Testament. In the Christian New Testament, Cadavers are transformed into living beings. Loaves and fishes transform their quantity from few to many.
