A lawsuit against Donald Trump that was filed and then dropped several years ago resurfaced on social media this week to remind people of the shocking allegations against the former President (from before he won The White House in 2016.) The lawsuit was filed by a woman who claimed that her and another young woman had been forced to perform sexual acts on each other and on Trump while they were still minors. However, the lawsuit was abruptly dropped with no official reason given many years ago. Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Shocking allegations resurfaced against Donald Trump this week from a lawsuit that was actually filed against him, dismissed by the courts refiled against him, and then withdrawn by the plaintiffs in 2016. And this lawsuit, one of the filing, one of the pages of the filings went viral on social media this past week. Tens of thousands of shares and views. Um, it describes what one of the plaintiffs said that when she was a minor, her and another girl who also at the time was a minor, were forced to perform lesbian sexual acts on each other before they were both forced to perform oral sex on Donald Trump. That is what was alleged in this lawsuit again from 2016. These are not new allegations. A lot of people thought that when this thing was coming out and going viral on social media, a lot of people thought that this was a brand new thing.
But in fact, it was just one of many overlooked stories from Donald Trump's first presidential campaign back in 20 16, 8 years ago. Let me read you this. Uh, the plaintiff was only identified using the name of Katie Johnson. The lawsuit filed in federal court in Riverside, California in April, 2016, named Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, the late convicted sex offender as defendants. It claimed the men held Johnson as a quote, sex slave in 1994 when she was 13 and forced her to perform sex acts. A judge dismissed the case in May that year ruling that the complaint didn't raise valid claims under federal law. Uh, another version of the lawsuit was filed in June of 2016, but reportedly withdrawn months later. A third version of the suit with the plaintiff going by Jane Doe was filed in September, 2016, accusing Trump of rape. That suit was also dropped months later.
Trump's accuser had been expected to appear at a news conference in early November, 2016, but her attorney, Lisa Bloom, said she had received threats and was too afraid to show up. Doe's Attorney Thomas Meger then filed a notice to dismiss the case without providing an explanation? The woman hasn't been heard from since. So these were valid claims. The court's like, nah, you don't really have a legal claim here. I mean, you're just alleging that you were a sex slave and forced to perform sexual acts on the man running for president that hey, that's not a real legal claim. Right? That in and of itself just blows my mind, a judge being like, that's not a claim. Holy hell, no wonder Victims do not come forward more often when this is how they're treated by the legal system. Lisa Bloom, of course, very, very reputable attorney. I have no reason to doubt what she says, that these women, or at least her client that
She knows of, was receiving threats from the MAGA crowd. And those threats were enough to scare her into withdrawing the lawsuit. And of course, never appearing publicly to talk about these claims. But this was Trump and Epstein, right? Those good buddies, Epstein, the guy that Republicans always say like, oh, we're gonna get the Democrats when those Epstein files come out. Right? Well, y'all may wanna pump the brakes on that 'cause it seems like your guy might be the one that's in bigger trouble. But again, this lawsuit had resurfaced this week, not because it had been refiled, but just because somebody had taken, you know, the pages of the filing and put it out there for the public. And it's a good reminder. It's a very good reminder of what is on that other side, not just the retribution, not just the horrible economic policies that will send us spiraling into a depression, but the fact that this man is an absolute creep, and that is what this lawsuit was hoping to expose. Because even if this particular lawsuit, if you're like, no, obviously she withdrew it, it's not true. Okay, what about the other 44 women that have come forward? What about the Access Hollywood tape? |
