To finish off Queen's last ever two-show-day, the band perform a second time on March 29th in Osaka, precisely four hours after the afternoon performance had begun. Of course, performing two times in one day is always a heavy burden on someone's voice, especially on someone with nodules and an unconfirmed illness on top, who hasn't been in great voice in general as of lately, so don't expect any miracles on Freddie's end for this one! What surely didn't help as well was the fact that the band (or just Freddie) participated in a party in between shows, leaving Freddie quite drunk for the evening performance. Luckily, this only really shows during 'Bohemian Rhapsody', as Freddie forgets some lyrics during the first verse. Unfortunately, Brian as well as the rest of the group (they barely manage to get into 'Keep Yourself Alive' until Freddie cues them in through a well timed adlib) face issues of their own, whether they're from playing intoxicated or not I'm not sure of, but none of which are taking away from an otherwise strong musical performance. Thankfully, the band would have another day off before their next two shows in Tokyo and things would quickly improve from there onwards.
