This is a great, active exercise for going outside one’s comfort zones and laughing at the same time. Because the actors will improvise scenes based on topics that are relevant to the group, the audience will recognize situations from daily life. After the exercise, you can discuss preferences with the group. In daily life, do they prefer to express their thoughts or not? Ask them if it is easier to express thoughts or if it is easier to hold thoughts in. This will bridge the gap between the exercise and real life. 2. You can also put two actors on the stage with no one behind them. During the scene, you clap your hands and point at a random participant from the audience. Let him choose one of the actors and give a thought to this actor. This will help the participants stay alert during the scene, because they can be chosen to communicate a thought.
