In seeking one’s goal, one may miss seeing many of the gems lying around for when the mind is fixed on a particular outcome, the sensory perceptions will shift to change the perceptions and shut down many of the other higher senses like the body senses, soul senses, intuitive senses and others. The idea of cultivation of the mind is advocated in many of the teachings of the world. I would say - cultivating and knowing the body is more important and when you know your body fully, naturally mind, emotions and feelings will all fall in place. When you get to know your body fully, then you can choose to express what emotions and thoughts you want to experience. Talking to the body will start to express what you want to feel. You can ask your body to express a specific emotion in your body and this will produce the corresponding thoughts originating from it. Practice talking to the body. Govinda PS.
