At the time, Police hadn’t clarified if that man was struck by the suspects or the officers. Here is The good news though. Police released the footage under a rule passed in 2020 requiring the NYPD make public all body camera footage involving shootings and use of force resulting in injury or death. The NYPD said the benefits include transparency and increasing trust between police and the community. This is the reason why we have this footage to view. But before we get into it, we have to do a little background. if you know, you know. But if you don’t know, here’s the scoop. Allegedly, this was originally a blood dominant neighborhood, especially with o.g mack having influence in the area during his early conquest to expand the U.B.N.. Some say, that o.g mack originally came from 1 7 owe, around the college and clay avenue area. This is only a few blocks from where the murder in this story took place. The murder In question took place in the vicinity of Findlay avenue, 166th street, also known as, six wild. they are known to be members of the mak ballers, which was once a set of the bloods until an internal riff took place. once the split happened, the gang bangers from the area, dropped blood and claimed mac baller. That’s we would assume. The history behind why the mak ballers are not a part of the U.B.N, the united blood nation is another story. As far as 6 wild goes, they were a part of a gang war that took place in the area starting in the late 2000’s, early 2010’s. at the time, the government described it as a war involving three crews. 6 wild, dub city, and the 2 80 crips. Some say, that up until this day, the 2 80 crips and 6 wild are still at it, making it a relationship that has been sour for over a decade. The same they should stop, is the same reason some may feel like it shouldn’t. there has been a history of murder and attempted murders between the crews, and this situation seems to be linked to the drama. The victim, Gabriel Casso, 21, was running away from gunmen and toward police officers when he was shot multiple times in the torso. He was never a troublemaker as far as I knew, said friend, who was among those who showed up to pay respects. “He just minded his business. Family and friends were baffled over why the young hip-hop artist and dad, also known as, “Gee Six, was shot by two gunman in broad daylight at a busy intersection. |
