| Video Discription | STAMP - Students Taking Action for Medicine and Peace http://stampmcgill.wordpress.com On Monday September 21st, 12:18pm, we gathered in front of McGills Roddick gates campus at for a flash mob event, which involved gathering into smaller groups and counting-down to climate change action. The time of 12:18pm represents the 18th day of the December (12th month), which is the final opportunity to reach a global treaty at the climate change summit at that time in Copenhagen. We will captured our event in photos and video and send the footage to activist organization Avaaz, which compiled footage from hundreds of similar events around the world and to present to world leaders at a UN climate-change summit the next day. |
