Incredible efforts were made by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer - Goa along with every election officer, polling agent and everyone involved in the election process. Most notably, was the need to make elections safe and accessible to a wide range of voters including specially-abled persons by providing the necessary facilities. Transgender voters got to vote under a third category for the first time. It was an incredible day for Goa, with everyone from first time voters to senior citizens coming out to vote and showing their love for democracy. #AssemblyElections2022 #GoaElections2022 #goavotes |
