Clams with coconut is a perfect blend of just the right spices and finished with coconut cream and fresh coconut to give it a nice balance. Ingredients
Fresh clams with one shell - 50 to 60 nos
Chopped onions - 2 nos
Chopped garlic - 4 nos flakes
Chopped ginger - Half inch in size
Chopped green chillies - 2 nos
Chopped tomatoes - 1 no
Fresh grated coconut - 1 tea cup
Fresh coconut milk - Half tea cup
Red chillies whole dry - 3 nos
Cummin seeds - Half teaspoon
Coriander seeds - 1 tablespoon
Peppercorn - Half teaspoon
Turmeric powder - Half teaspoon
Tamarind pulp - 2 tablespoons
Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
