There are three 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander powertrain options, a 2.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder with an 8-speed automatic transmission, 265 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Standard AWD in Canada, FWD and AWD options are available in the US. There’s a 2.5L 4-cylinder Hybrid matched to an ECVT, a combined 243 horsepower, standard AWD in Canada. FWD and AWD options are available in the US. And finally, the model we are test driving is the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid Max with a 2.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder and a 6-speed automatic transmission, it gets a combined 362 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, standard AWD. You can put regular fuel in the Grand Highlander. The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander gets some nice standard features including, a 12.3” touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 7” multi-information display, a wireless charger, 10-way power driver seat, 8-way power passenger seat, 8-passenger seating, SofTex upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, power liftgate and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. In the US, both captain’s chairs and a bench seat are available on the base trim. A heated steering wheel is standard one up from the base model.
