| Video Discription | 'GRAPHIC' is a festival celebrating the imaginations and ideas of visionary creators in the fields of graphic storytelling, animation and illustration. Hackett Films created the visual image for the festival which appeared on posters, Sydney Morning Heralds Metro magazine cover and was rolled out across various marketing collateral. Leo Nguyen directed a 3 minute introductory event graphic that was featured at the beginning of each show for the duration of the festival. Heavily inspired by the graphic novel convention the piece played on the fears of all designers burning the midnight oil to meet a deadline. The central character depicts a festival competition entrant struggling to submit their work on time. A punchy, upbeat track by Regurgitator emphasises the urgency. |
