| Video Discription | Khichu Servings - 8 INGREDIENTS Green chili - 1 1/2 tablespoons Ginger - 2 tablespoons Water - 500 milliliters Salt - 1 teaspoon Carom seeds - 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon Rice flour - 250 grams Melted ghee - for garnishing Salt - for garnishing Red chili - for garnishing Coriander - for garnishing PREPARATION 1. In a muddler, add 1 1/2 tablespoons green chili, 2 tablespoons ginger and muddle them with the help of muddler. 2. In a heavy skillet, add 500 milliliters water, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, crushed green chili ginger, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and stir well. 3. Add 250 grams rice flour and cook for 3 - 4 minutes. 4. Cover it with lid and cook for 5 minutes. 5. Open the lid and stir well. 6. Remove it from heat and cool for 10 minutes. 7. Transfer this into a bowl, take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a khichu. 8. Place it on a steamer and steam for 15 minutes. 9. Garnish with melted ghee, salt, red chili and coriander. 10. Serve.
