| Video Discription | Heather received a $200 grant and video camera from WeAreTeachers. Her microgrant project revolved around creating a home-made worm composting bin. Heather used the funds to get the compost process started so that her students would then be able to observe and participate in the composting themselves. Her goal with this project was to teach her students about the benefits of composting as well as to raise the awareness of her students about their own food and what is processed versus organic. |
