| Video Discription | WARNING: For any music channels out there, I have a warning for all of you. You you have noticed it by now, but since around 2020 Square Enix has been EXTREMELY harsh with taking down music on YouTube featuring their games. This is because of the new "steaming guidelines" that they put forth, specificly for Final Fantasy XIV (the mmo) upon the release of that game's final major expansion, "Endwalker." These streaming guidelines have been applied to any Square Enix title release from April 2020 to current year, and state that videos for the express purpose and only for the purpose of uploading music are not allowed. HOWEVER, if you post music with gameplay in the background, that is 100% allowed though you cannot monitize it. That is why all FFXIV videos posted on YouTube have gamplay in the background, they are literally not allowed to post the OST otherwise. This is also why a japanese channel posting recent Square OSTs in big hour long "dumps" hasn't been copyright claimed at all. It is because they used gameplay footage in the background. I highly recomend for any music channels out there for when posting music from current Square Enix titles from 2020 or later to use backgroud footage along with the music. Just get a longplay off YouTube and edit it down while also removing audio, and place the direct song alongside it. This will precent the video from being taken down. Sadly, not many people outside of the FFXIV community and Japan know about this policy change, so I'm spreading the news. When posting music from current Square Enix titles, put gameplay alongside them in orde to not be taken down. Thank you.
