| Video Discription | Learn how to make a small batch of homemade strawberry jam! Sometimes you don't want to make 12 pints at a time. Or maybe you don't have a canner. Well, this recipe is for you. Enjoy! What you'll need: 2 lbs fresh strawberries 2 cups granulated sugar 1 Tbsp lemon juice This recipe requires 2 lbs of strawberries which is approximately 4 1/2 cups of firmly packed chunked strawberries. You may use frozen berries if you wish but thaw them first. You can also use blueberries, raspberries, blackberries or any combination thereof. Also, you cannot reduce the sugar in this recipe. It will not work. Since this is essentially a candy, it just doesn't work with less sugar. If you wish to use a candy thermometer, you can do so. You will need to cook this to 220*F.
