| Video Discription | Playwright Arthur Miller (October 17, 1915 -- February 10, 2005) was born in Harlem, New York City. He earned a Bachelors Degree in English from the University of Michigan in 1938. His pays included All My Sons, Death of a Salesman, The Crucible, A View From the Bridge, After the Fall, and The Price. He wrote the screenplays for several of those plays plus the script for the movie, The Misfits, starring his one-time wife, Marilyn Monroe. He won Tony and Emmy awards and the Pulitzer Prize. Arthur Miller was interviewed by Mike Wood on February 6, 1995 in New York. The interview segments are courtesy of the William Inge Center for the Arts in Independence, Kansas. |
