Come to Barcelona with us! We were there for 3 full days and tried squeezing as much as possible in to the trip! I've added below everything I can think of, but if I have missed any details you'd like to know more about just drop me a comment on the video :) Hope you enjoy xxxx
Our hotel - H10 Montcada - we loved this hotel! The rooms were great (it was loud for some reason in our room during our first night but quiet every other night after…) The rooftop bar was amazing too, with reasonably priced drinks, stunning views as it wraps round the hotel so there’s so many views to take in at each side of the hotel! The hotel was such a good location for most places we wanted to see and visit within a short walking distance.
Food/Drink places:
Pizzeria Da Nanni (the most insane pizza I think I’ve ever had! Great to takeaway too - we spotted lots of people eating it from the street whilst they wandered/sat on the steps to eat it!
Gelaaati Di Marco - for gorgeousssss gelato! All the gelato we ate was from this spot as it was so recommended and so close to our hotel!
Cremat 11 - instagrammable brunch spot and delicious food! Looked good for an evening too but we didn’t get to visit on a night!
The Steakhouse - where we had our steaks - SO GOOD! The restaurant was gorgeous and so nice having the burner on our table for our steaks!
La Fabrica - for insane empanadas! A really cute little shop with so many options on fillings!
Churros place - La Selecta de churros - Antigua Xurreria Sagrada Família - the best churros I’ve ever had! They do filled ones with things like Kinder etc too which are amazing or you can stick to the usual ones with chocolate dipping sauce.
Hotel Colón - Rooftop bar overlooking the cathedral - we had to wait roughly 20 mins as the rooftop didn’t have many tables, but it was SO worth it! The views, drinks & food were gorgeous.
Grand Hotel Central - We visited the rooftop bar in this hotel on our first and last evening - amazing views over Barcelona and a great vibe! We were so surprised at how reasonable drink prices were too, i.e. 6 euros for a cava, cocktails were around 10! So impressed considering the views, the rooftop itself and the fact it is a 5 star hotel!
Santa Gloria coffee & bakery - the breakfast pastries are out of this world!! Still thinking about that Nutella filled croissant today!
Food on our last night was at Grill Restaurant Steak House - think this is part of “the steakhouse” chain we visited another night. The food at The Steakhouse restaurant was better than this one!
Sightseeing places we visited:
Barcelona Cathedral - right next to our hotel and we visited the rooftop bar at Hotel Colón to sit with views directly over the cathedral which was AMAZING!
Barcelona Zoo (we both weren’t expecting to love it as much as we did!!) If you have kids, or you’re a big kid yourself (like us!), you’ll love it!
Camp Nou - we opted for the players experience tour as Kyle really wanted to go in the “extra” bits - so areas like the home teams changing rooms, pitch side, sit in the seats on stage in the press room and the VIP seating area where their presidents seat is! We loved the tour too as it was a much smaller group (think there was 10 of us!), so we’d recommend if you have a football fan in your group to choose this option!
La Sagrada Familia - STUNNING! A must see when you’re in Barcelona.
Park Güell - We made the mistake of walking to here from our hotel! It is possible, but as it’s all uphill and time consuming we’d definitely have been better off catching a metro instead to save time (and sweat!). The views are amazing over Barcelona, you do pay entry, but it is a tourist trap and was crowded in the main photo spots (and we didn’t even go in peak summer!).
