| Video Discription | You've probably noticed these new overlays on top of YouTube videos. YouTube assumes content creators have non-interesting things like credits or subscribe clips at the end of their videos. Others though, (like this one), don't. Use of these things BLOCK the video that you're trying to watch and as of June 2017, there isn't a way to disable them using YouTube settings. :( As best I can tell, YouTube is using HTML elements to overlay these blocks on top of the video, which can be blocked by AdBlock Plus. This video demonstrates how to do this so that you can watch the video that you came to YouTube to watch. |
