I removed the drain pipe (having a small trash can to catch the water that came out of the back of the washing machine). I cleaned the interior of the drain pipe and it did not have a clog. When I put it back on the washer, it DID drain at first and then quit. However, when I lowered the emptying end of the drain pipe closer to floor level, water did come out again. I think the problem is in the pump. What do you think?
