| Video Discription | Yes, we were just in Vegas for the first 16 days of November 2022. But, we FINALLY received a long-awaited comp room offer from the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, so we decided to go back in December 2022 in order to attempt to maintain our Gold tier status with Identity before our points reset on December 28, 2022. With the Gold tier level, you get resort fees waived (most important to us) and some other benefits, like Buy 1 Get 1 Free meals daily at the Wicked Spoon buffet. We didn’t get to Gold on our own last year, and honestly, we didn’t even consider that we could maintain it on our own until we dug a little deeper into the Identity Rewards Program. We were shocked to learn that we could reach Gold with just $4000 in annual resort spend. Of course, we’ll be gambling along the way, which will help to reduce that amount (though not as much as for the big gamblers out there!) At the time we arrived at the Cosmo, we only needed 10,879 tier credits of the 20,000 required to earn Gold. At 5 points per $1 resort spend, we needed to spend $2,175.80 during our 6 day stay. Almost half of that was handled by the room: we had 3 nights free, upgraded for $80 nightly to the One Bedroom Fountain View room, and 3 nights that we paid for. Those fees totaled $915 before taxes (taxes, fees and tips do not earn tier credits). To spend the remaining $1260.80, we decided to try some new restaurants at the Cosmo, like STK - we went for brunch and dinner, and Jaleo - we tried the tasting menu and ordered a few items off the regular menu. Stay tuned for those restaurant reviews! We also tried Snacks at the Bellagio and returned to Din Tai Fung at Aria and charged those meals back to our Cosmo room to earn our points. @cosmopolitanlasvegas The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas might just have the best rewards program in Vegas among the top Vegas hotel groups. It requires much less resort spend to reach Gold than it does at MGM or Caesars. And, even though the property has not yet fully integrated into the MGM family, it’s a huge bonus that both new and existing members can status match at MGM. On the other hand, ONLY NEW CAESARS REWARDS MEMBERS can use their Gold status from Cosmo or MGM to get Diamond Status at Caesars (for a limited time). And, if you’re wondering, YES! We did manage to maintain our Gold Status at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas during our stay. And, because MGM will match our Cosmo tier status, we’ll have another year of waived resort fees at all MGM properties! Mission accomplished!
