| Video Discription | Growing your own cut flowers at home can be simple with this ready to go plan of direct seeded and planted flowers--no seed starting needed! We are giving you a ready to go plan for a 4x8 garden bed, complete with information for succession planting for continuous blooms all season. We also go over some tips and tricks for direct seeding success! In our plan, the left side of the screen is the North side and therefore where we place the taller sunflowers. Remember you may need to adjust the plan depending on orientation of your garden bed! You will need: -one packet sunflower seeds (or more if doing multiple varieties) -one packet cosmo seeds (or more if doing multiple varieties) -10 dahlia tubers -one packet zinnia seeds (or more if doing multiple varieties) -four garden mums for cutting (we like those from bluestone perennials) or can substitute nasturtium, calendula, marigold.
