Stuffing your dogs toys with the correct food and treats is important. Using boring food inside of your dogs puzzle toys will not be very exciting to your dog and he won't be very interested in working to get the food out. On the other hand if you use good treats and food that is exciting to your dog he will be very focused on working on the puzzle toy. One trick that I like to do is to freeze the treats or food that I put inside of my dogs puzzle toy. This way when I give the toy to my dog because the food is frozen together it is much more difficult to get the food out and lasts much longer. In this video you will see a trick I use to turn my dog's regular kibble into something much more exciting inside of his puzzle toy.
