| Video Discription | In this video we look again at a lighting circuit using the 2 plate method and I explain the connections within the switches for 2 way and intermediate switching (3 way switching). The 2 plate method takes the feed (supply) to the switch and is often used in installation that have lots of downlights fitted (LED lights). I show and explain the connection at all switches making it easier for learners to connect up both the 2 way switches and the intermediate switch. The 2 plate method is a very common wiring method used on site so it’s important apprentice electricians and trainees understand it.
